Donations to The Salvation Army's Tree of Lights campaign is moving closer to its goal but remains behind last year's rate of contributions. Through December 27th, the campaign had raised a total of $2,119,041, which is 71% percent of the $3 million goal. This is 9% behind the 2012 campaign.
The Salvation Army served approximately 200,000 people in Omaha this year. There is still time to support the Tree of Lights Campaign with a year-end gift. The campaign has been extended to January 15, 2014.
Donations stay in the Omaha Community.
