March 6 D.J.'s Hero Awards Scholarship Applications Due
Nominations are now open for the D.J.'s Hero Awards.
Nebraska high school seniors who have overcome adversity are eligible for a $10,000 scholarship named for D.J. Sokol,
son of David and Peggy Sokol. D.J. battled cancer until his death at age
18, showing courage in his struggle and concern for others and the community. Scholarship winners
will be awarded at the D.J.'s Hero Awards Luncheon. Scholarship applications must be postmarked by
